Geisinger, a national leader in healthcare innovation and technology, is seeking a BC/BE Pulmonary/Critical Care trained physician for an exciting opportunity at Geisinger Wyoming Valley in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. There is a strong Sleep presence for those boarded in Sleep.
At a Glance:
- Work 2 weeks of outpatient pulmonary clinic with procedures, 1 week of inpatient pulmonary consult service, and 1 week of ICU/month
- Typical cases are COPD, asthma, pneumonia, lung cancer, pulmonary hypertension, and interstitial lung disease
- Be an instrumental part of teaching with our Pulmonary Critical Care fellowship hosting 4 students/year, scholarly activities, interdisciplinary programs, committees and research

Position Details
Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center (GWV), located in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., is an acute care hospital that is licensed for 274 beds, and houses the only Level I trauma center in Luzerne County. The campus includes the Frank W. and Dorothea Henry Cancer Center, The Richard and Marion Pearsall Heart Hospital, the Janet Weis Children's Hospital Pediatric Unit, a transplant program and the Brain & Spine Tumor Institute. Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre is GWV's ambulatory campus.
