Join our growing and compassionate team at Indiana University Health in Indianapolis, IN! We are seeking a patient-focused Acute Care/Trauma Surgeon to collaborate with our highly skilled teams. This position affords the opportunity to manage a mix of high acuity trauma, surgical critical care and emergency services.
Employment Opportunity Details:
Full-time employed opportunity
Provide services at a Level 1 Trauma Center in downtown Indianapolis
Academic appointment with the IU School of Medicine, salary and academic/clinical rank will be commensurate or are commensurate with experience
Acute Care Surgery consisting of surgical ICU, trauma and emergency general surgery
Support and contribute to a growing practice with highly collaborative and interdependent processes in place for successful patient outcomes
Shared call
90% inpatient/10% outpatient
Fast paced and highly skilled team providing evidence based care
Opportunities to teach medical students, residents and fellows

Qualifications:
Completion of a Surgical Critical Care Fellowship
American Board of Surgery BE/BC
Physician MD licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure in the state
