INTERNAL MEDICINE HOSPITALIST JOB DESCRIPTION HIGHLIGHTS 

We are looking for a full time Internal Medicine Hospitalist Physician interested in building a rehabilitation practice and growing with the community. The hospitalist will round and consult on rehabilitation patients in the hospital and collaboratively work with PM&R and other supporting physicians. Hilton Head Island is a stunning and picturesque location where it houses world-class golf courses and is known for its coastal beauty. Hilton Head features numerous marina restaurants and boutiques. PRACTICE MODEL

Physician will establish a private practice to include a caseload of medically complex inpatient rehabilitation patients.  The Physiatrist will set up a relationship with an independent billing company and retain 100% of his/her own billing and collections. Encompass Health has its own well-trained outreach teams that identify appropriate inpatient rehabilitation candidates from surrounding areas. 
 
 QUALIFICATIONS

• MD or DO with state medical license or willingness to obtain state license
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or similar specialty
• Patient-centered commitment to excellence
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
• Hospital-based physiatry experience preferred
• New Grads Accepted
