Job Summary:

WMCHealth is currently recruiting a well-rounded Pain Management to add to their team to be centered in Poughkeepsie, NY. The Pain Management Physician will, in conjunction with the WMC team, help build and develop an outpatient pain practice in collaboration with Neurosciences and Orthopedics.

Responsibilities:

The clinical role of the physician will be divided between outpatient clinic visits (variable, but the schedule would be ranging from upwards of 5 full days in clinic with procedure), and inpatient consultation and follow-up. Some administrative duties as well with helping with Quality initiatives for the hospital.Call responsibilities will be limited and possibly shared with other pain management physician(s). This includes weekend coverage for patients on the non-operative pain service. Call will be taken from home, with availability over phone to discuss any issues with covering team. OR Anesthesiology responsibilities and call can be negotiated if desired but is not expected.

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited Medical School
• Must have an active or be eligible to obtain a NYS license
• BC/BE in Medical Specialty
• BC/BE in Pain Management (ABA only)
