The Complex Case Manager must be using clinical knowledge and critical thinking skills, applies cases management principles to guide the member along the continuum of care to the optimal functional level and quality of life. The Complex Case Manger should utilize available resources to achieve the most favorable clinical and cost outcomes. The Complex Case Manager is to perform under supervision of CM IV and or manager. The Complex Case Manager demonstrates member advocacy and collaborative approach throughout the case management process. The Complex Case Manager achieves established production and quality metrics. The Complex Manger oversees team to ensure quality and production metrics are met. The Complex Manager identifies opportunities for quality improvement and cost savings. The Complex Manager Complies with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
The ideal candidate for The Complex Case Manager position must have critical care experience with excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and organizational skills that also maintains professionalism and objectivity in member and family interactions.
