M Health Fairview seeks an Assistant Medical Director for Ob/Gyn Specialty Practices. The Assistant Medical Director responsibilities will be at a .2 FTE
Responsible to ensure the delivery of consistently high levels of quality care and service that meets and/or exceeds clinical expectations and patient satisfaction for Womens Health Care. Assures the coordination, direction, and collaboration of services and resources related to the discipline as well as achieving productivity, financial and operational goals. Supports the Medical Director to execute on the operational, clinical, quality and customer experience work of the system and service line. Ensures consistency of clinical practice across all OB/GYN clinic sites.
OB/GYN Clinical Operations o Responsible to the Medical Director for operations of the clinics and ensuring that standards are consistently applied across all clinic locations o Coordinates with the clinic site leaders to implement Service Line Quality Improvement projects o Works in collaboration with the respective Patient Care and Site Supervisors to support operational efficiency and patient experience o Attends Monthly staff and MPOC meetings, in coordination with the Medical Director o Conducts regular reviews of provider productivity and documentation, and collaborates with coding educators on clinical documentation improvement work o In conjunction with the site supervisors, provide clinical oversight for the OB/Gyn Specialty Clinics
HR/Performance Management o Conducts annual performance reviews o Responsible for Provider Performance Management, Behavior/Discipline o Lead provider recruitment contact for new and replacement positions in coordination with FHMG Recruiter and Director of Womens Services o Serves as a mentor to new and junior providers, supporting their practice growth, development and quality of care o Along with the site leads, coordinates new provider orientation and onboarding

Five years experience in relevant medicine practice Holds current credentialed status in good standing Board eligible/certified by ABMS in Obstetrics and Gynecology

This Assistant Medical Director, along with the Medical Director, will have oversight over all the M Health Fairview Ob/Gyn community practices.
